Lauria’s career has taken a number of twists and turns over the years with a consistent focus on creating systems and organizing information and people. She started her career as a production stage manager freelancing at a variety of theatres, but calling Greater Boston Stage Company in Stoneham, Massachusetts her home even after moving onto other things.
Most recently she was one of two Wardrobe Coordinators at the Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum. In addition to occasionally giving tours and talking to tourists about 18th century tax law and how ordinary people can affect great change in their government, she ensured that the story of the destruction of the tea and the lives of the citizens of Boston was told through 18th century costuming.
Lauria’s previous work as a manager and coordinator has allowed her to hone her skill set – project management, scheduling, and coordinating multiple projects at once.
Her hobbies include sewing, knitting, listening to audiobooks, and making bow ties for her cat – Slinky Inkpad, PI.
